Robert Emmett McDowell (1914 - 1975)

Robert Emmett McDowell (5 April 1914 - 29 March 1975) was an American author. He is remembered primarily as a Kentucky historian, but he got his start writing for the pulp magazines. Between 1945 and 1954 McDowell published just under forty stories and novelettes in the pulp magazines.
