William Chambers (1800 - 1833)

William Chambers (16 April 1800 – 20 May 1883) was a Scottish publisher and politician. Along with his brother, Robert Chambers, he published Chambers's Edinburgh Journal (later named Chambers's Journal of Literature, Science and Arts) and formed the book publishing firm of W & R Chambers Publishers.
