Emma Louisa Turner (1867 - 1940)

Emma Louisa Turner or E L Turner was an English ornithologist and pioneering bird photographer. She wrote eight books and many journal and magazine articles, and her bittern picture resulted in her being awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Photographic Society
