Martin Alonzo Haynes (1842 - 1919)

Martin Aolonzo Haynes (July 30, 1842 – November 28, 1919) was an American politician and a United States Representative from New Hampshire. He was a soldier in the American Civil War. He was also owner/editor of the Lake Village Times weekly magazine, clerk to the Supreme Court of New Hampshire and was largely responsible for the founding of the Internal Revenue Service of the Philippines.
