Arthur M. Forrester (1850 - 1895)

Arthur M Forrester (9 January 1850 - 21 January 1895) was an Irish patriot, poet and journalist. He was a member of the of Irish Republican Brotherhood and was arrested several times for acts of rebellion against British rule, including arms running. He emigrated to the United States and became a proofreader for the Boston Herald in 1887, holding that job for nearly the rest of his life. He died of tuberculosis at age 45.
