Maurice Renard (1875 - 1939)

Maurice Renard (February 28, 1875 - November 18, 1939) was a French writer, specializing in fantasy, science fiction and detective novels. He is at the origin of the “wonderful-scientific” (merveilleux-scientifique) genre, which had a certain success in France in the first third of the 20th century.
