Jaroslav Vrchlický (1853 - 1912)

Jaroslav Vrchlický (1853-1912) was a Czech lyrical poet, nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature eight times. He also wrote plays and translated numerous works by Goethe, Shelley, Poe and other classics into the Czech language.
