Henry Esmond Christman (1906 - 1980)

Henry Esmond Christman (8 June 1906 - 26 November 1980) was an American journalist and historian. He was a union leader for his newspaper in upstate New York and served during World War II in the Office of Price Administration in New York City and in the Office of War Information in London. After the war and the publication of his most famous work, "Tin Horns and Calico," he turned to editing as well as contributing articles to many different publications.
