Vulgata Clementina (VC)

Sixto-Clementine Vulgate or Clementine Vulgate is the edition of Latin Vulgate from 1592, prepared by Pope Clement VIII. It was the second edition of the Vulgate authorised by the Catholic Church, and it was used officially in the Catholic Church until 1979, when the Nova Vulgata was declared "typical" (standard) by John-Paul II.
