Georges François Renard (1847 - 1930)

Georges François Renard (November 21, 1847 - October 17, 1930) was a French professor and author. Founder of the syndicate of socialist journalists on May 1, 1893 and president from 1928 to 1930. Director of the Socialist Review (1894-1898). Freemason, rationalist, militant of the Free thought. Independent and idealistic socialist; Millerand's friend; member of the anti-German League during the 1914 war and the French Association for the League of Nations after the war.
