Frances Cook Steen (1851 - 1933)

Frances Cook Steen was an American poet, composer, and teacher of music. She was also a very talented but little known artist during her lifetime. She had two volumes of poetry published to her credit: Life Waves (The Aledo Democrat Publishing Co., 1922) and Along the Way (Doubleday, Doran & Co., Inc., 1931).
