John G. Johnson (1833 - )

John G. Johnson, M.D. was a prominent medical doctor in Brooklyn, N.Y., beginning his practice there in 1857. He was an assistant editor of the New York Medical Journal. His investigation of poisoning from improperly canned food stuffs led to improvements in the canning industry.
