Irene Curtis (22 August 1890 - 7 April 1916) was an American poet, musician, and composer. She graduated in 1909 from The Columbia School of Music, having the signal honor to be chosen by the directors to play the concerto at Commencement, accompanied by a large orchestra made up of members of the Theodore Thomas orchestra. She died at age 25 after a 3-year struggle with failing health. Her volume of poetry, with a few musical compositions, was published posthumously.
