George Lovell Cary (1830 - 1910)

Dr George Lovell Cary (10 May 1830 - 26 June 1910) was an American theologian. His theological position was, in general, that of modern Unitarianism. He was graduated from Harvard University in 1852 and was professor of New Testament literature in the Meadville Theological School from 1862 to 1892 and for years was its president. He retired as president emeritus in 1902. He was the author of several books on New Testament literature and distinguished as a theologian.
