Evariste Carrance (1842 - 1916)

Évariste Carrance is a French writer born in Bordeaux on October 3, 1842 and died on October 31, 1916, probably in Agen or Colayrac, known among other things for having been one of the discoverers of Lautréamont, of whom he published the first of the Chants de Maldoror in 1869.
