Isaac Woodbridge Riley (1869 - 1933)

Philosopher and historian, best known for his scholarly study American Philosophy: The Early Schools (1907). Isaac Woodbridge Riley (born New York City, 20 May 1869; died September 1933) was a United States historian of philosophy whose studies of Mormonism and Christian Science made him a focus of controversy. Most of his career was spent as a professor at Vassar College.
