Harry Granice ( - c. 1909)

Harry Granice started the weekly San Rafael Independent newspaper in 1900. He had learned about writing from his mother and about printing and newspaper production from his stepfather, the publisher of several newspapers in California gold mining towns in the 1850s and ’60s.
