Elisa Armstrong ( - 1929)

Elisa Armstrong Bengough was an American novelist active around the turn of the twentieth century. Her first novel, The Teacup Club, appeared in 1897 and was followed by The Very Young Man and the Angel Child in 1900 and The Talk of the Town in 1902. She was born in Frederick County, Maryland; married artist William Bengough in Cook County, Illinois, in 1920; and died in 1929 in New York City.
