Ramanuja Rao Somaraju (1896 - 1934)

Somaraju Ramanuja Rao (June 18, 1896 - November 14, 1934) was a prolific Telugu playwright, theatre producer, and freedom fighter. A writer and activist, he not only wrote historical, social and mythological plays but also worked in organizing performances. He is a writer in the early years of Telugu cinema, providing the story for a successful film.
