Thomas Thursday (1894 - 1974)

Thomas Thursday was a humorous writer who had a long career writing for pulp magazines. His first published short story, A Stroke of Genius, appeared in Top-Notch magazine in April 1918, and he was still appearing in pulps in the late 1950s. His real name remains a mystery.
