Shepherd Knapp (1873 - 1946)

Shepherd Knapp was a clergyman in Worcester, Massachusetts. He published a volume of reminiscences of the First World War, entitled On the Edge of the Storm, and devoted his retirement to writing The Liberated Bible, in which he retold Old Testament stories.

He also wrote poetry and short plays for the Bohemians, a literary club of which he was a member.
