Augustín F. Cuenca (1850 - 1884)

Augustín or Agustín F. Cuenca was born in Mexico City. In 1870 started studying Law, but interrupted his studies to dedicate himself solely to his writing. Contributed to many newspaper and magazines of his time. Many of his verses were published in El Parnaso Mexicano. He also wrote a few plays, but his untimely death prevented him from publishing authorial collections of his own poetry.
