Agnes Blake Poor (1842 - 1922)

Agnes Blake Poor was born in Andover, Maine, in 1842, the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry V. Poor. Miss Poor's early years were spent in New York, but later she moved to Brookline, Massachussets, where she lived for more than fifty years, writing articles for magazines, books about NEw England, the migration to the US, as well as translating works from Spanish and Portuguese. She died in 1922.
