Ik Marvel (1822 - 1908)

Donald Grant Mitchell (April 12, 1822 – December 15, 1908) was an agriculturist, gardener, and writer, better known as Ik Marvel. He was Washington correspondent for the New York Morning Courier. He wrote many historical, satirical, literary, and agricultural books.
