John Dutton Wright (1866 - 1952)
John Dutton Wright (20 July 1866 - 19 January 1952) was an American pioneer in education of the deaf and a strong advocate for acoustic and auricular training. He founded the Wright Oral School for the Deaf in New York City, developed a correspondence curriculum for parents of deaf children, and wrote several books.
