ReVoxer development project

LibriVox seems to be generating a good deal of non-literary activity, which I think is extremely cool. If there are any coders reading this, check out the ReVoxer development project.

Here is the blurb:

ReVoxer is a software recording tool designed specifically for creating human-read audio from text. The tool includes the functionality of audio software such as Audacity, with added features tailored for text-to-audio recordings, in particular a text-scrolling feature which feeds text to the screen as the reader reads. This makes recording text easier; but it also allows for audio to be time-linked to the text itself, and therefore searchable.

Umut Topkara is looking for some help on the project (GPL of course). Contact details on the link above. I think this is a great project, that will have exciting applications well beyond LibriVox.
