William A. Drake (1899 - 1965)

William Absalom Drake (December 9, 1899 – October 28, 1965), was an American screenwriter. Born in Dayton, Ohio, William was multi-lingual. He became a journalist at a young age and soon moved to New York City, where he was an editor for Vanity fair and held other prominent positions while pursuing a screen writing career.
