Back in December of 2005, when Librivox was still only a few months old, we had the bright idea to try recording a play — The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde. We asked all the cast members, who live in several different countries and most of whom have never met in person, to record their lines individually and submit them to Paula, who edited them together. (Yay Paula!) Well, today our play is officially finished. Betsie has cataloged it and it’s ready for you to download and enjoy.

A hearty thank you to everyone who was involved in this amazing project!

“The good ended happily, and the bad unhappily. That is what Fiction means.”
