Hey Wina you beat me to this one! I guess I will have to settle for MCing for you! I'll be back to set up the magic window in a bit.

Jo,

I recall you mentioned that you wanted to do a solo of one of her books but I didn't realize it was this one! I am more than willing to find another one of her books to read instead. Your Rinehart project launched me into Librivox and introduced me to Mrs. Rinehart's work. There's plenty to pick from.

Wina,

This one is all yours! I have a long list of books to choose from and will be more than happy to be able to listen to your recording of this one! My first post was just meant as "great minds think alike" and all that! Smile

Your project is now in the database and I have fixed up the top post with the magic window. I will PM you the info you need to edit this yourself as you go along (or I can do that for you if you prefer). Let me know by what method you would like to send your files. I will set up a folder for this book on the LV server that I use. You can either send the files by yousendit or other such service and I will download them and transfer them to the server or you can upload them yourself by ftp directly onto the server.

Good luck with your first solo. I'm betting this will be a fun book to read! Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything along the way!

Wina,

Just checking to see how things are going. I know your target date is a long way off yet, but if you could please post once a month or so and to let us know that you still working (or planning to work) on this project that would be great. Thanks!

Hope all is well.

Jo,

I am still on track for this project.

I have 2 more commitments to finish and then I should be devoting my time to this project.

I have been having my usual throat problems lately and had to put my recordings on hold. It is extremely troublesome and frustrating. Crying or Very sad

I thank you for dropping me a line.

Best,
Wina

Jo,

I cannot find the email you sent with the Admin login and password for this project. Sorry!!! Crying or Very sad

Also, let me know what you think of this summary:

Quote:
The flood brings in not only the muddy waters but a series of suspicious clues that convinced Mrs. Pitman, a boarding house keeper, that a murder has been committed at her house. Jennifer Ladley aka Jennie Brice is missing and with the help of Mr. Holcombe, a quirky gentleman with a passion for mysteries, they embark on a quest for the truth behind the disappearance of Jennie Brice.

I am the author of the summary.

Hope all is well.

Jo,

I've been sick lately. I will get on this book as soon as I am recovered.

Sorry for delaying the start of this project.

Wina,

I've entered your first chapter into the magic window for you. Going forward, please use the Librivox uploader rather than yousendit to submit your files:

http://upload.librivox.org

(If you have trouble reading the image above, please message an admin)

Once your file is uploaded, you will be given a direct link to the file which you can copy and paste into the magic window as the Listen URL (or post it in the thread if you want me to do it for you).

Thanks!

Jo
