|
|
Following the lead of our London/ UK counterparts ( http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4900&highlight= ), is there any interest in a Central Ontario chapter or get together. I know a couple of our active volunteers are from north of Toronto.
A possible meeting place could be at Toronto Podcamp on Feb 24/25
http://podcamp.pbwiki.com/ .
I am planning on posting and podcasting more about podcamp in the very near future.
I would also be happy to host something up on the shores of Georgian Bay. _________________ Sean McGaughey

Calling all Ontarians.
Sean has said he is willing to host the worldwide gathering in Midland. Please respond as to your intentions about attending. Lets get as many people as possible for a fun time on the shores of Georgian Bay.

| Possibly... I don't think there's any birthdays around that weekend to block up my time... I'd have to see closer to the date. Right now I'm just concentrating on graduating this year. I'm only looking at my next project deadline... anything past that and my brain goes all mushy. |

Hello Ontario Residents!
Esther and I still talk from time to time about having a meetup for Ontario Librivoxians. I am once again involved in Organizing Podcamp Toronto ( http://podcamptoronto.org or http://podcamptoronto.wordpress.com ) on February 23 and 24 at Ryerson University in Toronto. If enough Librivoxians are in attendance, we could perhaps organize a session for recording, or discussing issues around recording audio for the public domain.
Alternatively, both Esther and I would be willing to host Ontario Chapter meetings at our homes north of Toronto.
Any takers? _________________ Sean McGaughey
