We ask that you submit your recorded sections within 1-2 months of placing your claim (or by the target completion date, whatever is sooner). Extensions will be granted at the discretion of the Book Coordinator. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it’ll go back to the pool. There’s no shame in this; we’re all volunteers and things happen. The target completion date for this project is August 31, 2010.

Need noise-cleaning?
Listen to your file through headphones. If you can hear some constant background noise (hiss/buzz), you may want to clean it up a bit. The new (free) version 1.3.3. of Audacity (Mac/Win) has much improved noise-cleaning. See this LibriVox wiki page for a complete guide.

welcome to Librivox, I hope you will enjoy here. Chapter 6 is all yours. As you have never recorded before, it's recommended that you submit a one-minit sampal recording, just to make sure that your tecnical settings are all correct. Also, we will need to know under which name you would like to appear in the catalogue: it can be under your reall name, your forum name, or something else that you wish. Also, we will need to know if you have a personal url which you would like us to link to your name. If you have questions, just ask.

Welcome to LibriVox Happy to see that Belinda's your first project.
Section 6 is all yours. A test recording - just 1 or 2 minutes - would be much appreciated, so we can check if all the tech specs are just right - then you'll be good to go!
And what would you like for your catalog name? And if you've got a URL, I could put that in too.
