Hi,
I know we have one of these stories by Margaret Sidney in the works as a solo and the other being read by a group; now I'm hooked - can we do more of these please? I would love to DPL for any new recordings of these cute stories.

I wouldn't mind being BC for another one of them. Here's the list of things Margaret Sidney has written:

The Adventures of Joel Pepper
Five Little Peppers Abroad
Five Little Peppers and How They Grew (two versions in Librivox)
Five Little Peppers and their Friends
Five Little Peppers at School
Five Little Peppers Grown Up
Five Little Peppers Midway (solo being recorded in Librivox)
Twilight Stories

Any suggestions for which one to do? Very Happy

I'd love to hear more of the "five little Peppers" too! How about just taking the next one in line? Very Happy

Elli

P.S.: I might eventually take one of them up to BC or whatever too!

Hi Elli and Chelsea,
According to Wiki the chronological order is:
"... They Grew"
"... Midway"
"... Abroad"
"... Their Friends"
"... Grown Up"
"... Phronsie Pepper"
Since Five "Little Peppers Midway" is being recorded as a solo, how about "Five Little Peppers Abroad" ? Even though I don't mind listening to different chapters in one book not in order, I do kind of have a hang up about books in a series if I can help it. Embarassed

Hey! I set up a collaborative book for "Five Little Peppers Abroad" in the New Projects Launch Pad. Most of the sections in "Five Little Peppers and How They Grew" have been claimed, so I didn't think it was too soon. Very Happy

Hi, everyone!

It's nice to see that other people like the Peppers books; they are some of my favorites.

FYI, I'm going to try going solo with Five Little Peppers Grown Up. It's not the next book chronologically, but it was the third book written by Margaret Sidney (before she went back to fill in some of the gaps). Chronology for these books gets so confusing at times. Razz

If anyone knows someone who might be interested in being a DPL, please send them my way.

Thanks! Very Happy
