Also die verbleibenden Leser wollen die Kapitel wohl noch lesen ... aber "Der Chancellor" von Jules Verne ist bereits in See gestochen und hat noch genug Kapitel frei Wink

Dann ist es auch gut. Ich wollte nur ein bisschen Bewegung in die Sache bringen. Ich werde mich dann erst mal meinen anderen angefangenen Projekten widmen, insbesondere dem Malte Laurids Rigge und dem Stoertebeker (siehe dort).
Gruss, Sonja

PL 2-19:
3:08 Salzgehalt (read: Salzgesalt)
17:04 extra sentence (I think two half-sentences from the surrounding): In welche Genossen sind bereit?
17:30 wenn Sie uns die Freiheit geben (read: wenn Sie uns die Freiheit haben)
18:30 darbieten (read: darbeiten)
22:51 + 24:26 d.h. is short for "das heißt", you could read the full words, if you like
26:19 double "mit"
26:52 Verschiedenheit (read: Verscheidenheit)
28:37 double "waren zu gewaltig aufgeregt."

A minor thing: there are a very few words, where you use the English pronunciation, but where German and English pronunciation are different enough that you could think about changing the pronunciation to help the listener understand better. (For questions of pronunciation, the loudspeaker option at http://dict.leo.org/ might be helpful.) Here they are:
3:00 + 3:04 + 4:45 + 5:24 + 7:35 + 28:58 Ocean (modern German spelling: Ozean)
4:00 Zone
5:10 Islands (as here the land Island = Iceland is meant)
Otherwise I think your pronunciation is quite good Smile

Thank you so much for the PL, Raubertochter! Smile I didn't know, the link you've provided is very helpful.
I'm sorry about the numerous mistakes Embarassed
I'll make the corrections ASAP and resend the recording!

Es tut mir leid, dass meine Aufnahmen so lange auf sich haben warten lassen. Ich hoffe die Tage den Rest noch zu schaffen. Aber hier ist erst mal Kapitel 16:

Die Aufnahme ist 12:17 min lang.
