I'm afraid it has not worked again either.

With a length of 18 minutes, the size of the mp3 should be about 18 MB or thereabouts - and this one is only a few kb- can you check the size of your mp3 files on your computer?

Yes, it's 17.1kb

OK - so it's not the upload that's going wrong! Have you tried playing the mp3 on your computer? It probably won't work... Something has gone wrong while exporting your audiofile to the mp3. Which recording software do you use: Audacity?
It must be something small that went wrong - for section 1 and section 4, the mp3 is fine - so what did you do differently for 2 & 3?

Yes, the file for 2 plays back just fine.

No, chapter 3 was also only about 17.2 KB.
I have a suspicion that you may have forgotten to do the "export to mp3" step on these files - you didn't just change the last 3 letters to ".mp3" did you? Such a small file size, that still seems to work on your computer - might it be the original .aup file itself?

Do you use audacity?

Thanks for the help, Anna. I really don't know what went wrong, but I did have multiple copies of the recordings. Deleting the extras seems to have helped somehow. Stupidly I didn't realise that by clicking on the link in my postings to you, I could check whether the recording had arrived.

I am using an old pc for Karain. The sound quality is better than on my laptop, but it can be temperamental. I don't want to change horses before I finish this, since the quality will be quite different.
