Hi,
I have a mobile distribution site for apps and am looking for audio content to distribute. Our distribution tool distributes directly to mobile devices and could be a cool way to allow users world wide to get audio content.
I am available on skype : szelber
Or on my mail : shaun@nexva.com
Regards

Well, you've found plenty of audio content here: 2805 completed projects amounting to over 642 days solid listening. All our files are in the public domain, and available in the catalogue, so just carry on!
All our work is carried on in this forum. If you have any specific questions just post.
Good luck with your venture!

Wow.. cool. So we can put on our servers and distribute freely all the audio content here ? Of course on each Audiobook page we can put a logo of Librivox and a link back to your site.
Tell me if there is anything we need to know ?
Regards

We should be very appreciative of links and logos, yes. Anything that gets the word out about Librivox and encourages both new readers and listeners.
There's lots of information about Librivox on this page and even more, including promotional material, banners, buttons etc in the Wiki.
You may be familiar with Traveling Classics, who have an iTunes app doing something similar?

Is there some way to download in bulk the content ? or to get via FTP ?
Sorry to be a pain ! But it would make things much faster.

We can't help you with that, I'm afraid. All our content is hosted by www.archive.org and is on many different servers there. I don't think any bulk download would be possible, but you could try asking them.

Just a thought ... please don't take any audio directly from the forums - it's often in an unfinished state and may contain errors / issues still. Not to mention that we simply don't have the bandwidth here to accomodate that kind of downloading.
Everything we finish is stored at archive.org, and that's the only place to download from. Definitely worth contacting them to see if there are any bulk download options. _________________ Criticism is something we can avoid easily by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing: Aristotle. . .
