To my understanding, it is standard form that when a poem is untitled you use the first line (or a portion of the first line, if it is exceptionally long) to title it. Emily Dickinson and e.e. cummings are examples of frequent use of 'first line as title'. In this case, it would be acceptable to use "Once on a Time the Stork Brought a Baby" or alternately just "Once on a Time."

Hope this helps! - Amy

Ooookay, here's my first non-test attempt - do let me know if anything is awry! This is one that wasn't in the catalog yet.

The Promise of the Morning Star by Amy Lowell (1874-1925)

Text URL: http://www.theotherpages.org/poems/alowell4.html#amy2.30

MP3 URL:
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/jc/thepromiseofthemorningstar_lowell_ab.mp3

Duration: 1:35 (includes the 5 seconds of silence at the end - should I count that, or list only the 'actual recording' length?)

Hello and welcome to LibriVox!!

Great reading!
My only suggestion for future recordings would be to perhaps increase the volume a little bit. This one is a bit on the low side, but it's still good to go.
also, please note that for the file name, the 'The' at the beginning should be omitted. I'll fix the name for you.

Thanks a lot for your contribution!

PS: the duration should be the duration of the whole file, including the silence at the end.

Hello and welcome to LibriVox!!
Thanks a lot for your recording! Your voice is really nice to listen to, and the reading is excellent!
The only technical suggestion I have is to increase the volume a bit. it's a wee bit low, and there's a section near the middle where it peaks. My advice would be to de-amplify that section, so that it's roughly at the same level as the rest of the recording, then amplify the whole track.

Other than that, it's perfect!! Thanks again, and have fun around!

My second attempt - I increased the volume levels because it was too low, but am concerned that now it is too high - I don't seem to be a good judge of that yet, feedback appreciated - if I need to I can re-record it.
