that was really fabulous... and you cringers who appeared in the show, you guys are ridiculous ... you all sound like hollywood movie stars (the old school kind, with character).

Librivox Community Podcast Show #61 -- is available on Archive.org or through your favorite podcatcher at http://feeds.feedburner.com/LibrivoxCommunityPodcast

(Edit DTG): You can download it directly here.
(Size: 25.6MB, Duration: 28 min-ish)

This week’s host is Cori.

The voices involved are sjmarky, Kaffen, AntonEpp, wondermidget, Starlite and thistlechick. And Jazbees. Though he doesn't know it yet. Very Happy

Music: Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from Holst's Planet Suite ( http://www.musopen.com/view.php?type=piece&id=223 )

SFX: pdsounds.org and host's own tinkering about.

Non-LV Promo: SFFaudio.com's own (and I put that in before I saw this lovely comment from them, honest! Though, umm, perhaps this great bit of cover art, posted last week, for one of my recordings might have swung it slightly.)

All voices were edited by me; in the case of thistlechick and Starlite, very substantially. To listen in full to their recording, you can download this 13.3MB file (it is worth it, I only used 6 min of 14 mins total -- I just couldn't quite make it fit.)

The blog and the podcast feed are updated. I uploaded the file to archive.org. But... Archive.org seems to be cranky today. The file won't "Check IN" so its not showing up yet on archive.org. I think it should resolve itself in a few hours.

The file is showing up on Archive.org so I edited Cori's announcement post to point to the file on archive.org. It still won't let me in to derive the other file types, but that operation can wait. I know the checkout system resets after 48 hours so if all else fails I'll derive the files on Saturday. In the meantime, enjoy Cori's far-out podcast. Very Happy

Darn it, iTunes *still* isn't picking it up! I'll just have to go download it the old-fashioned way :)

Hmm, it hasn't derived into other formats on archive.org either, and it's showing as VBR, not regular 128kb which has been happening for a few weeks now. And means, apart from anything else, no ID3 tags showing.

Looks like it needs poking with a big stick.
